Joseph Jerome (Jerry) George 1957 - 2008

I’m sorry to have to tell my readers that Jerry George passed away last night, Jan 18, 2008. He had been suffering from hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver resulting from chemotherapy that he had received for colon cancer. Jerry was placed in hospice last week and held on to precious live as long as he could. Yesterday morning Jerry had started having trouble breathing and as many family and friends of his that could show up at hospice to say their farewells. We sat around Jerry and told antidotes of his live Around 9:20 pm last night a friend of Jerry’s put a CD of gospel music on, local singers from Jerry’s church and that sound slowed his breathing down and allowed Jerry to let go. Jerry passed away around 9:35 pm surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones.
