The Vacation Trip Update

It's getting down to the wire and after spending a beautiful last Sunday and Monday in the Talladega National Forest testing out the new truck tent; test was successful, I have hammered out the details of my schedule.


April 5th

0900 Leave Moreland

1200 Troy Al

1600 Waynesboro, Ms

2000 Bude, Ms - Camping at Whitington Roadside Park

April 6th

0800 Natchez, Ms. (Maybe delayed - want to check this place out for a future weekend.)

1200 Gross, La.

1600 Fairfield, Tx

2000 Brownwood, Tx. - Camping at Lake Brownwood.


April 7th

0800 Santa Anna, Tx - Suppose to have a bunch of hand crafted furniture shops so I might be delayed here.

1200 Sterling, Tx.

1600 Odessa, Tx.


On the 9th I leave out of Odessa, Tx at 0800 in the morning.

1200 Menard, Tx.

1600 Hondo - Dunlay, Tx.


I will stay in the Hondo, Dunlay, Devine, San Antonio, TX area until the morning of the 15th and then I will leave Dunlay at 0600.

1130 Texas / Louisiana State Line

1630 Louisiana / Mississippi State Line

1830 Dreamland BBQ, Mobile Al. Gotta get my yearly Rib Sandwich jones fix.

2300 Alabama/Ga State Line

Midnight - Home for Moreland - Check on the cats - go to bed.


April 16th

1900 Back to the cabulance.
