Once again Razorback and myself shall sally forth into the west. My itinerary shall have me traveling much the same roads that I did last year when I traveled to Natchez Ms to travel the Natchez Trace but I will travel beyond Natchez to Alexandria La where I shall bed down for the evening.
The next day shall see me travel even farther westward to Austin where I shall quickly stop off and have a brief reunion with my brother. After a short period when we start getting on each other’s nerves I shall continue to Bandera Tx. Bandera is known as the Cowboy Capital of the World. In reality it’s the Old Dude on a Harley with a young chick on the back capital of the world. I shall be an abnormality there; yes, I’m an old dude but I neither have a Harley nor a young chick to ride on the back. Maybe I’ll find the young chick rental center and rent one so at least I’ll have two out of three conditions going for me. But then again, they may not rent to me since I’m only on a Suzuki.
Two days in Bandera and then an early start to Kerrville to IHop to meet up with that scoundrels James for breakfast then it’s San Angelo to be reunited, if only briefly, with my mother. I’ll stay the night in San Angelo before taking off Friday evening to Odessa Tx and stay the night with Charles Leon then it’ll be time to start heading back.
Saturday night I plan to stop over in Paris and see the Eiffel Tower: No! Not that Paris and not that Eiffel Tower but the one in north east Texas. The next day I should travel through Arkansas, Tennessee, and then down into Mississippi to spend the night at
Elvis’ birthplace: Tupelo Ms.
Monday will find me passing through Gadsden Al and stop to visit shortly with another cousin, P’nut.
Monday night and I’ll be home, ready to rest up and recharge before I hit the old treadmill of work again.
