We had a little scare at work the other day, it would have been Thursday, the 28. There is a couple of paramedics that are married (to each other) that live in Hogansville, Ga., and works for AMR. It seems that one of their children and a friend of his came up missing. I’m not sure how long they were gone before it was notice but when I came on shift at 630 pm.; they had the Hogansville Police, Fire and even the EMS unit riding around looking for these kids. The father, who was working, left early to join in the search. Soon after I arrived we get the call that the kids have been found, and they were safe.
The next morning I was able to talk to the mother when she came on duty and she told me that they had been hunting the children and that she had remember a storage shed they had that the door had a habit of sticking on. So she went to check to see if the kids had inadvertently locked themselves up in there. Nope, but as she was checking she heard one of their dogs yelp, and she looked over towards an old cutlass her husband was restoring and there were the kids inside waving at her.
The insides had been ripped out already and none of the doors or window handles was on and when the kids went inside to play they ended up locking themselves and a dog in with them.
Thankfully everything came out all right.
