The Journey of twenty-two hundred miles begins with just a single step. Lao Tzu (paraphrased) This blog is mainly about my excursion upon the Appalachian Trail. This is a journey that has been 15 years in the planning stage and on March 20, 2022 it will see that plan being executed. Tacky Lights

Tis the month of the winter solaris and all over the town,
The tacky lights of Christmas was popping up from the ground.

What is a Tacky Light display? Mainly it’s one that assaults the senses. When you first look at it you will momentary look away or you eyes pop open from disbelief. And one of the first thoughts that you have is, “They could have put all that money to better use.”

The Children seems to be the only ones that’ll not cringe when they see it. I think it’s because they can’t talk the whole scene in at one and therefore get a senses overload.

Here are a few from Grantville, Ga. and Lagrange Ga.
