The Journey of twenty-two hundred miles begins with just a single step. Lao Tzu (paraphrased) This blog is mainly about my excursion upon the Appalachian Trail. This is a journey that has been 15 years in the planning stage and on March 20, 2022 it will see that plan being executed. May update.

Well, I thought that those last two entry were going to be held as "drafts" but I see that I have posted them instead, and w/o any captions. So here goes a quick review,
1.) April 29: That's Nell and myself at her apartment in Devine, at top
2.) The entrance to Nell's apartment with Nell, Eddie, and Pat waiting to get in, at the middle.
3.) The Walkway leading to Nell's apartment, at bottom.

Nell does have a very nice place with all her friends around her. I'm sure she will be happy there.

1.) May 2: The pasture as taken from Big Al's in Devine. From all the rain the pasture is very green. They have been getting an unusual amount of rain this year.

2.) This was taken outside of Big Foot, Tx. I wanted a picture of the Blue Bells.

3.) This is an EMS Heliport in Frio Co. outside of Big Foot. Tx. Something those of us in EMS would be interested in.

As far as getting up to date, I'm still working two jobs going to school and getting ready for quarter finals. I have one more quarter to go after this and I think I'll take a rest from school for maybe 6 months. This Paramedic class is very hard.

One picture I want to share with this posting is this one of one of Eddie's fine birds.

Also, a Shout Out! to "little" Guy Sweatt. (Why he is still being referred to as "little" is beyound me.) Aunt Nell told me that you asked about me when last you spoke to her. Keep 'em between the ditches, Guy.
