The Journey of twenty-two hundred miles begins with just a single step. Lao Tzu (paraphrased) This blog is mainly about my excursion upon the Appalachian Trail. This is a journey that has been 15 years in the planning stage and on March 20, 2022 it will see that plan being executed. January 2007

Well, it has been about the same for me for the last month, work and school. We are getting into the cardiovascular section and things are beginning to fall into place to make some sense.

I did get hit with the flu over the New Years. Ended up missing out of 60 hrs. of work because of it, (ouch).

I do have one little amusing antidote to pass along. Some stray dogs came into the yard and found the cat's condo, with the cats in it. One of them stuck his nose into the hog wire and was barking at Dennis. Dennis slapped the dog and racked it's nose good. That dog ran off yapping. At that time Dennis spotted me and was looking at me when the second dog stuck it's nose into the hog wire. Dennis, gave me a look of, "Are they really that stupid?", and then raked the second dogs nose. I have as of yet to see then come back.
