Well, it seems that I am back into the "swing" of things again. After much fuming, spitting and cussing I broke down and opened a google account so I can have access to my blog again. What angered me was that I had to set up new accounts, they should have just either transferred the old accounts or gave ample warning that access to the blogs would be restricted until a new account is done so that some of us could have transfer the whole blog over to another system of our choosing. That wasn't a very good practice that google engaged in.
Well, enough of that; for now.
I have passed ACLS (Advance Cardio Life Support) and will be taking AMLS (Advance Medical Life Support) in the next week. I also had to take a major cardiology test that would make a cardiologist sweat bullets and am happy to say that I failed it; Along with 17 out of 20 of my class mates, (The other three just passing it either on the mark or one point over). This seems to be a standard test and it seems that any other paramedic that has taken this test or similar has either failed or barely passed. Fear not though; what we need to know in the field is contained in the ACLS.
I was able to take a “Spring Break” vacation from March 26, 2007 to April 6, 2007. I went and visited Eddie and Pat in Dunlay, TX. Over the next several weeks I’ll be posting photos from that trip. Now don’t worry, I didn’t take that many photos, (I’m still not use to the fact that I have a camera that can hold up to 600 photos yet) but I’ll also be sizing them down for those that still use the phone lines for their internet connections won’t have to wait that long to get the blog downloaded.
