Just a few thought to catch up.
I saw Randy last Friday, we had a good visit. He’s back to his ol’ self of talking about things he doesn’t know anything about. Getting the jitters from the morphine he has to take. His scars are looking good. The left foot, is replacing all its toe-nails and the old ones have all came out. He is getting his money sent to him and he is keeping his bills paid up but he is still looking for hand out. I don’t believe he has spent any money on clothes yet.
Last week I had a nice telephone conversation with Aunt Nell. Glad to know that she is doing as well as she is. While I was talking to her I was driving down one of the back roads and saw a critter in the road with a cheeto’s bag over its head. I stopped beside it and told Nell what I was looking at; I wasn’t sure what type of critter it was. ‘Bout that time it let out a “MEOW” and I knew it was a cat. I got out of the truck and taking the bag by one corner I snatched it off its head. The cat took one look at me and ran up underneath the truck, rested long enough for it to get it’s bearings and after deciding it’s didn’t like me hollering at it. It took off for the woods. Nell was tickled to listen to it.
No, I didn’t try and bring that cat home with me. The other four would have pulled a double tag-team match on me. I still don’t know where they hide those folding chairs to hit me with when I’m not looking.
On Saturday, I took a trip up to Paris Mtn. to see how the Claredons Taj-Mahal was coming along. I was really impressed with the hall, about five feet wide. Almost all the doors are three footer. And the shower in the master bedroom has nozzles coming out from everywhere. There is even going to be a pan-head.
Today I finally finished up my little project of running power out to the carport. I finally got the wires separated enough to run one line and now I can get that power-cord down. That power cord was worrying me.
As far as that latest roll of film is concern I have only about 5 more pic’s to take and then it’s off to be developed. When that happens, I’ll be able to post more pictures.
