Well, there are still some surprises in the world. I saw Randy on Monday and he repaid me some money that he owed.
I like to have fell out.
I was speechless.
I am suspicious.
It could be that this home keeps count of all his money and if he gets too much then they make him spend it, or the fact that Randy is a con-artist, abet not a good one. Which ever, I will see how this is turning out.
As far as his health is concern, He is now starting to wear long pants. That brings up images of a time when a boy became a man he was granted his first pair of long pants, but that ain’t the case here. From what he is telling me of his clinic visits, they are worried about his right leg from below the knee. That is the leg that already had burn scars from the electrocution he suffered a few years back, and this new incident hasn’t helped any. More skin grafts are needed and to make a long story short he may lose the right leg below the knee. From what I can see of the right foot, (Randy wears those surgical booties, not up to wearing shoes, yet) the only thing left of it is the heal area, looks like it goes straight down. Randy says that he is steady loosing his nails off of his left foot too. Not sure if they will come back.
And as always, I’ll keep ya’ll posted.
As far as the house goes, I am fixin’ to start on the plumbing stage, thanks to the money I had gotten. The first thing I’m a going to do is go under the house and rip out all of the old. Just get it out of the way. And scrap it. Then I am going to lay all new pipe and wrap it with heat tape. I may go with the plan to put a bath in the front bedroom and then use it while I fix up the main bath.
No, Randy didn’t give me that much money to do all that, but it is enough to start.
The Cats are fine. Buddy has a sinus infection again, that I will have to clear up and then it’s off to the vet for Buddy, Missy, and Dennis to loose their claws. Missy and Dennis like to claw up the furniture and Buddy has given me several little “love scars”. That love has got to stop.
So I’ll end this here and check this blog often. I’ll only send out notices when I do a “major” posting like this one but from time to time I’ll post cartoons, funny pictures and other little quips.
Deo Vividus.

A couple of days ago, Charlotte and one of her friends were walking up the main road and noticed a five gallon bucket in the front yard, that had not been there before. They walked on past, and on the way back; Charlotte had to make a pit stop under the old Magnolia. As she was finishing and was stooped a little, she saw a young male peering into the tree; he, wondering what was going on in there. What’s someone to do but come out and say, “When you got to go, you got to go.” He said he knew what she meant, and then she asked his name (Todd) and what he was doing. He said he was collecting stuff to sell, old pipes and wires. Next question, she all ready knew the answer to, if he had permission from the owners (my mom and dad) to be there. While talking she was calling my mom on her cell. When she started to put it to her ear, he bolted, wire snips in hand. He nearly ran down her walking buddy, and down the road and into the woods he went. Everyone involved, thinks he thought she had a camera phone. The police were called and took Charlotte’s statement, and a couple of cops drove around a bit looking for him to come out. Of course Charlotte had to tell what she was doing to find him. (LOL)
