That's right; one of my female friends that have been bugging the "T" total, uh... hotspot, out of me to get on facebook has finally succeeded. And no Joyce, it wasn't you. Therefore, I relent and think, "Shoot, I can get on there and plug my blog". So now, I have a facebook account.
I then get on and set up an account and lo and behold it seems like there were a bunch just waiting for me to show up, like Vultures. Don't know if that's a good thing or not.
I then proceed to look up the friend that actually got me to join and couldn’t find her. So I called her up and asked what her account name is.
Her reply, “I’m not going to tell you. I want to keep and eye on you.”
I’m being stalked.
But not to worry, when that one hasn’t received a call from me or had me return her calls in a while she might get the hint.
Anyway, enough with the mini-drama.
I’ve looked facebook over and can see its appeal, it is easy, simple and quick to use. Just make sure you don’t have a lot to say. Reminds me of a Chat room in slow motion. And those that know me know that when I have something to say, I say a lot, and take my sweet drawn out time in doing it. That’s why I like the Blog.
So, I may blurp every now and then on facebook but I’m making sure that there are the links back to my blog so ya’ll can actually see some of the swill that I allow to run out of my brain.
The Journey of twenty-two hundred miles begins with just a single step. Lao Tzu (paraphrased) This blog is mainly about my excursion upon the Appalachian Trail. This is a journey that has been 15 years in the planning stage and on March 20, 2022 it will see that plan being executed.
