The Journey of twenty-two hundred miles begins with just a single step. Lao Tzu (paraphrased) This blog is mainly about my excursion upon the Appalachian Trail. This is a journey that has been 15 years in the planning stage and on March 20, 2022 it will see that plan being executed. Pig in a Poke

Does your little porker have a fever?

Does your little porker have a productive cough?

Is your little porker feeling puny?

You can almost bet your sweet bipphy it's not the SWINE flu.

But we now have a confirmed case at a hospital in LaGrange, GA (i.e: the only hospital in LaGrange, GA.) and we have already seen a difference. Once it was announced that the first case of swine flu in GA was in LaGrange, the EMS call volume went.....

Kaput.

Every little needy individual that normally calls up because they have a throb in their big toe, a hang nail, a headache, realized that it was best to stay home before they catch something and have something really wrong with them.

Glad I have gotten my vacation over with before this happened, because it looks like I'm going no where for a while and will be making as little contact with anyone outside of LaGrange as possible. Just in case I lose my sweet bipphy.
