Tornado crashes LaGrange College event
When the tornado hit downtown Atlanta about 9:40 p.m. Friday, LaGrange College was hosting a black tie affair on the 10th floor of the Westin Peachtree Plaza to honor college donors.
Suddenly a 12-foot pane of glass shattered in an adjoining room where about a dozen of the 70 guests were congregated.
