Maggie Stella Taylor



Maggie Stella Taylor, age 95, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at the Medina Community Hospital in Hondo, Texas. She was born in Atascosa County to Maxwell McKendree Norton and Myrtle (Sandefer) Norton.

She is survived by her daughters, Louise Krause and husband Lawrence of New Braunfels, Jane Chappell and husband Fred of New Braunfels, and Patty Boettcher and husband Eddie of Hondo; daughter-in-law, Betty Taylor Abbott of Bandera; grandchildren, Justin Krause, Dillon Krause, Ryon Krause and wife Rene, Clint Krause and wife D’Ann all of New Braunfels, Darryl Boettcher and former wife Kristie Boettcher of Hondo, Robert Boettcher and wife Erica of Oklahoma, Serena Voges and husband Tim and Melanie Bass and husband Frank all of New Braunfels; 19 great grandchildren; and 2 very close family friends, Nancy Heinlein and Priscilla Kearns.

Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank W. Taylor, Sr., son, Frank W. Taylor, Jr., grandson, Preston Taylor, brother, Charles Norton and sister, Mamie Webb.

Public visitation will begin 5:00 p.m. Friday at the Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 9:00 p.m.. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2007 at the Zoeller Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held 1:00 p.m. in the Johnson City Masonic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of one’s choice.
