Mother extradited in death of girl, 11

A 38-year-old woman whose 11-year-old daughter was found dead in her car in LaGrange has been returned to North Carolina and may face a murder charge.

Nancy Kasera, 38, of Thomas-ville, N.C., left the Troup County jail about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the custody of Davidson County sheriff's representatives. She had signed a waiver of extradition rights at 10 a.m. and is charged with first-degree child cruelty in North Carolina.
