The Journey of twenty-two hundred miles begins with just a single step. Lao Tzu (paraphrased) This blog is mainly about my excursion upon the Appalachian Trail. This is a journey that has been 15 years in the planning stage and on March 20, 2022 it will see that plan being executed. School, Work, School, Work

Yep, that seems to be all I have been doing lately. I did have a lovely Thanksgiving dinner at the Derrick’s house. Small bunch was there, the Derricks, the Claradons, and I.

I have taken on another job, just a few hours a week. This will give me a little spending money so that I don’t mess with my regular paycheck on that. I'm home health for a 70 yr. old man named Barney. Barney has ALZ. He also has liver failure so a lot of the conventual medications normally used are out of the question.

But the family is trying to take care of him, and I mainly give them 4 hr. of respite. Plus I have to put up with the elephant they call a dog, a chihuahua and a cat.

Murray, the elephant, and myself has came to an understanding. If Murray doesn’t act a fool in the house I don’t kick his hinny outside. But, it is an easy gig. Give me good study time.

Looks like I’m going to be schedule to work all day Christmas, but I will have the next three days off after that, combined with the three days before Christmas being off and it’ll be like a miniature vacation.

I would like to give a Shout Out to those that has have Birthdays or Anniversaries in November:

Happy 56th Anniversary Bill and Peggy Jean Adams

A Happy 54th Birthday to Douglas Adams.

A Happy 43rd Birthday to Robert Boettcher

A Happy 62nd Birthday to Guy Sweat, Jr.

A Happy 29th Birthday to Shannon Mize

A Happy 3rd Birthday to Marlie Claredon

In Memorial:

Pearl Randall Boettcher would have been 100 this month.

Morris Leon Mize would have been 70 this month.
